Elex Media Publishes Lovely Housemaid, HAL Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo released the first volume of Mihoko Kojima's Lovely Housemaid (Bokunchi no Kaseifu) and Umi Ayase's HAL manga on Wednesday.
Lovely Housemaid centers on Runako, a girl who is currently studying to succeed her family's maid dispatching service business. One day, the company receives a request from an entertainment talent agency, which ends up being a request specifically from ultra-popular star Seirei Morohoshi. As it turns out, Seirei has a different attitude from what he shows on television.
Kojima launched the manga in Akita Shoten's Petit Princess magazine in 2013, and ended it in 2015 with three volumes.
HAL adapts the original 2013 anime film of the same name. The "near-future romance" film appears to follow a girl named Kurumi who lost Haru, a boy she liked, in a plane accident. A robot "Robo Hal (Haru)" turns into her substitute for Haru.
The film premiered in Japan in June 2013. Manga creator Io Sakisaka (Strobe Edge, Blue Spring Ride) created the original character designs, and Ryōtarō Makihara (storyboard and episode direction on Guilty Crown, The Tatami Galaxy) made his directorial debut with this film at Wit Studio.
Ayase serialized the manga in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine in 2013, and Shueisha released one compiled book volume for the manga.
