Tekken 7's The IDOLM@STER Costumes Revealed
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official YouTube channel of the Tekken fighting game franchise began streaming a video announcing a collaboration between the Tekken series and The IDOLM@STER franchise on Sunday. The video shows new costumes for Tekken 7's cast based on costumes of The IDOLM@STER characters.
In the beginning of the video, Tekken 7's Paul Phoenix is introduced as a "special guest" in an idol outfit, but the disclaimer says this can't be used in the actual product.
The collaboration celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Tekken series and the 10th anniversary of The IDOLM@STER franchise. Bandai Namco Games publishes The IDOLM@STER series of games, and published the latest game, The IDOLM@STER One for All in May 2014.
The arcade version of Tekken 7 ran various location tests last year in Japan. Bandai Namco Entertainment launched the game in Japanese arcades on March 18.
