Trivia:

The title "Salad Days" is first spoken by Cleopatra in William Shakespeare's "Anthony and Cleopatra," referring to the carefree days of one's youth. She said, "My salad days, When I was green in judgment: cold in blood, To say as I said then! But, come, away; Get me ink and paper: He shall have every day a several greeting, Or I'll unpeople Egypt." The first sentense is ushered by the female lead at the very end of the manga.
