The animation is vibrant and smooth throughout, even in the most action-packed scenes. At the same time, the fight choreography is simply astounding—especially in the battle between Beatrice and Illya. While clearly different in style, the animation can even stand up to its ufotable Fate/stay night counterparts.

This is good to hear --- it's the major draw for me of this series, with a standard set by the battle between Archerko-Illya and Dark Saber in the original series.

I REALLY can't wait to see this movie (whenever Sentai does decide to bring it over to US theaters) and I'm so happy to hear the animation got a HUGE boost to even be considered on par with the Ufotable Fate series. Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya continues being my absolute favorite Nasuverse story and I'm glad anime viewers are starting to see all the content that made manga readers hyped for years. I do find it odd they chose to end the movie mid fight and didn't go to the "Conclusion" since it was already in the manga at the time but hopefully this means they have an idea of what they want to do for the sequel.

Just to add my two cents on the animation front.... While the reviewer is correct that the animation is good, they might be hyping it up a biiit too much, especially in the comparisons to Ufotable. I just think it's giving readers the wrong impression.

There are some CG models used during parts of some fights that are a bit jarring, though they tend to mix things up and never linger on them too long. There's an extended sequence using a bizarre filter that I THINK was meant to represent Illya's power jn a certain form... But truly I think it was just used to obscure the awkward models. Also, the climax with Julian is CGI HEAVY and a bit awkward. It's similiar to how they used a huge CG model for the corrupt monster Gil at the end of the third season, but thankfully offset by some great cuts of Illya. Also the Box and it's flowing mud kind of looks like trash for a final battlefield, it's just distracting.

Overall however I still thought the animation was great, especially after the disaster that was Oath (by Prisma standards). It's what I'd hope a Prisma film could be production wise.

There is zero, unless you consider Illya's costume during a certain install to be too revealing.

Two of the Install forms show a lot of skin and could be considered the most fanservicey outfits seen yet in the series but other than that no other fanservice happens because it's focused entirely on the plot and fights (There's a bath scene in the manga the movie doesn't show that I'm guessing will be made into an OVA or special and sold with the physical version of the movie).
